For my Final project in my first year of studies we were given the amazing opportunity to design an editorial.
I was given two words: Extreme Neoclassicism
I developed the concept by looking deep into the meaning of Neoclassicism. A word that to me personally meant reclaiming a style to represent something new.
I interpreted this to the recent trend of men in women's clothes that dominated the major publications for quite some time.
To me it was almost a back lash of the liberation of women- where the male gender has stood fairly still in this revolution.
It is ok for a woman to dress as a man for still a taboo for a man to be overtly feminine...why?
